Meeting Point: Jellie Park, Greers Road side by the toilet block
Session Description:
You have a "timed" (rather than distance), there are 2 courses for you to follow. Please know the turnaround times and the pace objectives for each set. There is no recovery between each set.
Session: 70min Run
20mins easy running (turn 10mins) Course 1
15mins at 10km pace (turn 7.5mins) Course 2
35mins at race pace (turn 17.5mins) Course 1
Course 1 Description:
-
Run up Greers Road to Memorial Ave, turn left.

Run up Memorial Ave to Ilam Road, turn left.
-
At Chateau Drive, turn left and run around coming back out onto Ilam Road, turn left.
-
Continue straight onto Aorangi Road.
-
Cross over Clyde Road carefully and continue straight.

At Brookside Tce turn left.

At your turnaround time, reverse the course back to the start and start straight into Set 2 on Course 2…
Course 2 Description:
-
Once back at the start point, continue straight along Greers Road, taking care crossing over Clyde Road.

Run up to Wairakei Road, turn right.
-
Run up to Aorangi Road and turn right.
-
At your turnaround time, reverse the course back to the start and start straight into Set 3 on Course 1…
