Your Final Run

Saturday 5 July, 7.30am
Meeting Point: Hansen Park, Opawa - meeting on the courts just passed the playground

Course Description:

  1. All roads are open on this course

  2. Please run on the footpath at all times and not on the road

  3. There are some uneven surfaces on this course, so watch your footing

  4. If you choose to wear a listening device, you must be able to hear what is going on around you. 

  5. Your safety is your responsibility.
     

  • We will set you off on a warm up first and then we'll start you off on your 5km run at approximately 7.45am. 

  • This is an out and back run - you run to the 2.5km marker, turn around and come back the same way.

  • Start by running around Hansen Park, coming out onto Louisson Place

  • Follow our markers that will lead you onto Ford Road. Run to the end and turn right. 

  • Follow the footpath on Fifield Tce to Ensors Road. Follow our markers that will lead you over onto the other side of the river. 

  • KM markers out: 1km, 2km, 2.5km

  • At the 2.5km marker, turnaround and reverse the course to the finish line!

  • There will be no coaches, it will be about you doing it by yourself
