Week 8

Meeting Points, Times and Locations for this Week's Sessions

Please 'check in' with the coach when you arrive

MORNING GROUP

EVENING GROUP

BOTH GROUPS: FINAL 10km RUN!

❗️We have our  RaceTeam crew starting from this location at 7am, so don't panic if you see runners out there already when you arrive. Allow a little extra time to find a park too, there is plenty of parking in surrounding streets.

Course Description:

All roads are open. Stay on the footpath at all times, please run no more than 2 abreast. Watch out for uneven surfaces. If you choose to wear a listening device, you must be able to hear what is going on around you. Your safety is your responsibility.

  • This is an out and back run - you run to the 5km marker, turn around and come back the same way.

  • Run around Hansen Park in an anti-clockwise direction coming out onto Louisson Place. Follow our cones onto Ford Road. Run up Ford Road to Fifield Tce. Turn right.

  • Run along Fifield Tce to Ensors Road. Follow our cones over the bridge and onto the other side of the river - you are now on Riverlaw Tce running back towards Hansen Park.

  • Continue along the river to Armstrong Ave, turn right running up to Centaurus Road.

  • Cross over and run along Centaurus Road.

  • At Aynsley Tce, turn left and follow our course to Grange Street. Turn right into Grange St.

  • The 5km marker will be near the end of Grange St.

  • KM markers out: 1km, 2km, 2.5km, 5km

  • At the 5km marker, turnaround and reverse the course to the finish line!

  • There are no coaches with you - this one you do on your own 🤩

❗️If you think your 10km run will take you longer than 1hr 15mins, you can start at 7am.
