Your final run is here

8 weeks ago we started this journey together. For some of you this is your first time, for others it's about improving on your last 5km and have gained more experience but for all of you, it is about putting into practice the lessons you have learnt over the last 8 weeks and achieving your own goal to the best of your ability. 

This has been a journey that has developed friendships, created belief in your ability and has hopefully given you a taste of the buzz of running. 

We hope you are proud of what you have achieved yourselves, but we have to say, our team is incredibly proud of you all.

Final Run

Course Description: 

  • Stay on the pathway at all times, please run no more than 2 abreast

  • Keep left and be mindful of others using the park - keep your distance from members of the public and try to stay 2m distance from them. 

  • Watch out for scooters, cyclists and dogs not on leads. 

  1. This is an out and back run - you run to the 2.5km marker, turn around and come back the same way. There will be a 1km, 2km and 2.5km marker out for you. 

  2. Run down the middle of the park towards the netball courts. At the end, turn right and run towards Moorhouse Ave and around the perimeter of South Hagley Park. 

  3. We will set you off on a warm up and then we'll start you off on your 5km run at approximately 7.45am.

  4. There will be no coaches, it will be about you doing it by yourself. Bring it on!

We have sessions on our timetable throughout the Christmas and New Year period so if you want to come along and have a run with the team you can buy a 1, 5 or 10 session Summer Break Pass that can be used for sessions between 20 December - 15 January.

Our first Get up to Five and Club10k programmes start the week beginning 17 January 2022 and will be our first teams for 2022.

Start Date: Week beginning 17 January
Earlybird rates are available until: 11.59pm, Monday 10 January
Registrations close 5pm, Sunday 16 January

We would love to see back in the New Year and get you back running with your team.
