Your final run is here

8 weeks ago we started this journey together. For some of you this is your first time, for others it's about improving on your last 5km and have gained more experience but for all of you, it is about putting into practice the lessons you have learnt over the last 8 weeks and achieving your own goal to the best of your ability. 

This has been a journey that has developed friendships, created belief in your ability and has hopefully given you a taste of the buzz of running. 

We hope you are proud of what you have achieved yourselves, but we have to say, our team is incredibly proud of you all.

Final Run


Course Description: 

  • Please stay on the footpath, keep left at all times and watch out for others using the footpaths.

  • There are uneven surfaces on this course so watch your footing

  • Your safety is your own responsibility
     

We will set you off on a warm up first and then we'll start you off on your 5km run at approximately 7.45am.
 

  1. This is an out and back run - you run to the 2.5km marker, turn around and come back the same way.

  2. Run around Hansen Park in an anti-clockwise direction coming out onto Louisson Place. Follow our cones onto Ford Road.

  3. Run up Ford Road to Fifield Tce. Turn right.

  4. Run along Fifield Tce to Ensors Road. Follow our cones over the bridge and onto the other side of the river - you are now on Riverlaw Tce running back towards Hansen Park.

  5. There will be no coaches, it will be about you doing it by yourself. Bring it on!
